the periodic table is shaped like a castle, with the left side being mostly metals and the right being gases. the only acception is hydrogen which is listed as a metal. most of the metals and gases are made into chemical symbols like oxygen is just O and helium is HE these chemical symbols make it a lot easier to determine which metal/gas it is. there is also the affects of the atomic number which s listed below each of the chemical symbols. then there is the mass of each which shows how each each one weighs on the table. the table is also divided into groups and periods. the groups are the vertical sections of the periodic table where the periods are parallel. the periodic table is organized into whether or not it is a metal or a gas. there are also more specific parts to the metals and gases like alkaline metals and noble gases. there are also the electron affinities, which is the electronic power, ionized energy which is the amount of ionic energy per chemical symbol, and atomic radius which does what it says it does it shows the atomic radius, ionic radius which shows the ionic radius, and electronactivity.
