flame lab

this week in our class we did a lab on the reorganization in chemical reactions In the release of absorption of heat energy. the chemical formula would turn the chemicals into a different color. like yellow, red, purple, and sparked. in the sr lno327 chemical caused the flame to turn yellow.  the only real inaccuracy would be if you used too much of the chemical formula on the flame. it was easy to figure out the element based off of the color of the flame. the flames on the chemicals are produced by chemical reactions from the heat energy. I think chemicals have to be heated by chemicals.
